Policies | People of Nora
- We are not allowed to provide therapy to minors (below 18) who do not have parental consent.
- If minors wish to seek professional help but do not have parental consent, then we direct them to a helpline center that can provide counseling without parental consent.
- It may take us up to two weeks to connect a client to a professional after they’ve registered with us.
- If a client doesn’t get back to the professional within 10 days of us connecting them, then we may have to reassign their slot.
- We follow the Kirkpatrick model of evaluation to make sure that clients are getting the quality of help they deserve.
- After their first session is over, we evaluate the first stage of the model: reaction.
- Halfway through their experience with us (session 3), we evaluate stage 2: learning.
- After the termination of their sessions of free therapy (session 6), we evaluate stage 3: behavior.
- Finally, one month after their experience with our finishes, we evaluate the final stage of the model: results.
- If a client doesn’t show up thrice throughout their journey with us or is late for three sessions consecutively, we reassign their slot.
- We follow a Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) structure for clients who wish to continue with us after they go through six sessions of free therapy and cover the rest of their professional’s charges.
- If a client does not have the ability to pay a token amount after their six free sessions are over, their professional is asked to initiate termination protocol.
- No client is prescribed medication.
- A client is required to disclose details of any ailments past or present and if any medication is prescribed and is being taken by the client. This information will be shared with the professional on a confidential basis before the process may be taken forward. We will assume the disclosures to be honest and will not be liable for any information not disclosed. Further, by signing up for the consultation, the client gives express consent to allow us to disclose the information shared with the professional on a strictly confidential basis.
